TOXIC Omnisphere for Omnisphere 2 with bonus version for PlugInGuru’s own Unify plug-in!
Agressive EDM/Dance/DubStep/Trap – whatever you want to attempt to label this genre as, it basically comes down to COOL ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC. This library is a partnership library created by John Lehmkuhl and Seth Norman. Seth Norman created incredible content for a number of PlugInGuru libraries including drum grooves for the BreakTweaker version of MegaMacho Drumz. Since around 2014 Seth has moved to Los Angeles and is part of the voicing team at Spectrasonics – that should give you some idea of the programming skill of Seth Norman. These are sounds like nothing you will find in 2020 from any other 3rd part library. We went for TOXIC but also included some softer sounds with pads and basses that will melt your heart just before the thundering bass lines will come back in and bring the TOXIC back!

Library Specifics: TOXIC Omnisphere takes the concept of BOLD, “In Your Face” synth patches – where the MOD WHEEL does EVIL and NASTY things to the sound that was first pioneered on TOXIC FM8 – and re-invents Omnisphere to be a complete evil task master with waveforms and distorted resonant sounds like you’ve never heard come from Omnisphere before. These are NOT pretty (well a couple are…), these are not TAMED (a comple have some manners), these are NOT patches you take home to MOMMA (well, you could… but I wouldn’t risk it)….. These are sounds that will RE-DEFINE HOW you can use Omnisphere. Taking you DEEEEEEP into the world of cutting edge EDM (whatever that is) genres and beyond

Basses as Leads
So many great patches in this package: Transitions, FX, Pads, Basses.
Honorable mention: using the basses as leads (play above middle C) when I need a lead sound that has some grit to it.
