I’m really excited to be selling Paul Carter’s 2 incredible synth plug-ins. Hyperion is the full modular software synthesizer with 815 Patches that you can freely edit. Theia is “Hyperion Lite” and simply gives you over 500+ Patches that are ready to be used in your productions with macro knobs to customize the sounds BUT the “under the hood” details are not included so that you can simply play and enjoy the sounds.
FYI: There is a discount if you ever with to upgrade from Theia to Hyperion. If you own Theia and add Hyperion to your cart (and you’ve logged into the site) you’ll see the savings at check out!
Wavesequencer Theia is Paul Carter’s no-editor version of Hyperion. Instead there are 587 of Hyperions 815 Patches (less applicable, more experimental patches not included) that are ready to be called up with every patch including Macro Knobs for altering the sounds in lots of different ways.
UNIFIED LIBRARY – We have saved all Theia’s Factory Patches in Unify format. This allows you to easily layer multiple Patches in the same patch for fun sonic adventures in layering and splitting lots of patches!
CLICK HERE to download the Unified Library
Check the YouTube Video Links below – the sound capabilities are identical between Hyperion patches and Theia patches. The big difference is simply that Theia is for calling up and enjoying the patches without ever getting into the actual components that make up the sounds. Instead you can call up the patches, play them, alter the Macro Knobs and write your next big hit!
Current Version of Theia: V1.22 (updated Jun 6,, 2025)
DEMO Version – You can download FROM THIS LINK the full version of Theia for PC or Mac. You won’t need to download again, just enter the license number you are given after buying access to this Plug-In. Saving is disabled and it makes noises while in demo mode, but otherwise, this is the full version of Hyperion to try out!
FYI: A Complimentary copy of THEIA is available to anybody that buys Hyperion. If you purchase Hyperion and would like a free copy of Theia, please email us at unifysupport@pluginguru.com and we’ll send you a license for Theia. Theia and Hyperion are the same but Theia has a simpler play-patch-only interface while Hyperion has full editing and creation of new sounds even from scratch.
We will add more information here – the best way to learn about Hyperion is to watch a few videos. Here are some videos Paul has created – We’ll be exploring Hyperion in our Livestreams and I’ll release videos in the future as well – difficult to do right now because I’m in California at these music trade shows.
