Had to be done, Excellent!
I hummed and tarred over this library, I own both Renegade and Ambient Dreams by Bob, but although from John’s walkthrough this was clearly of the highest quality, I felt it was adding little to the myriad of libraries I already own. Then I saw that Bob was soon to be married and that pushed me over the edge – of course I need it and am delighted with the expertise within. Have already used this extensively on 2 tracks. Thanks Bob & John for the quality and inspiration!
Awesomeness de luxe
In fact you can only find great libraries here. But this one is a special kind of awesome. Don’t know if it’s the sound of my childhood, that makes me smile from the very first second. or if it’s the versatility of sound design in both Vital and Unify. No matter what it is, it’s like peanut butter jelly! Best 80ies workbench I’ve seen so far. Kudos to Bob! Chapeau deluxe!
So much fun and such great sounds
Bob Dedes has done stellar work here. I bought the library within hours of it going live and I’ve already written a great, fun track using these sounds. They are production ready and sound so good in the mix. It also inspired me to get the PRO version of Vital as that synth is now firmly on my radar. I’m so impressed with the sounds it is capable of. The UNIFY version is essential as the drum sounds and bonuses are fabulous. Can’t recommend this highly enough.
Captured the musical DNA of the 80's brilliantly
Bob Deeds has brilliantly captured the musical DNA of the 1980’s. The patches, the drums and settings provide instantly recognisable sounds of that classic era. The 1980’s was my era, and these patches take me right back.
These are patches like nothing else on Unify and would recommend getting the Vital + Unify version. Set up was easy once I found the Vital VST2 file and added it to Unify.
If you were around in the 1980’S get it and travel down memory lane. If you were not around in the 1980’s, get it and discover why people in the 1980’s had so much fun! Well done Bob, great work.
