The Name Pol/Air comes from both Polarity, Polar and Air. Polarity because roughly 1/2 the library is from an incredible TYLER Electric Guitar played by a friend of mine, David Goetter (he’s also my neighbor 2 houses down from me). AIR of course for the space that pads create in a track as well as the high end frequencies that cause the hairs on our arms to stand at attention. This library has lots of tingly frequencies!
NOTE: This library will not work in Unify (Standard Edition). Unify 2.05+ is required.

We did 2 sessions of guitar sampling with David for this library. During those sessions we captured some pure blissful sonic magic. The fade guitar samples, the feedback monsters and the open/mute/harmonics from his guitar are all inspiring samples that provide sounds I have rarely if ever heard from ANY guitar sample library. Truly exquisite!
On top of this, there is another side to MegaMagic Pads V3. My uncle Marvin recently found out he has acute Leukemia. He invited my mom, dad and me to come visit him in Northern Idaho at his summer house on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. We went there in early September and we were not sure what shape he would be in. Thankfully he is in pretty good shape and was in very good spirits, it was a really nice 3 day visit. I brought my MacBook Pro with me and the evenings, I put together 14 of the 24 Pads while everybody else was sleeping. The air was full of strange energies due to being in one of the most beautiful spots on our planet, all to ourselves while one of us is facing a battle of epic proportions to keep alive in the coming months & years.

It was a beautiful trip and the Pads have a level of 3D-ism to them I can’t explain. They seem to literally jump out of the speakers in some ways that make these very special. Anyway, I just wanted to share a little about this trip since the experience, the views, the hugs are all tied into the sounds found in this library.

Again a very good usefull library
Again a lot of joy exploring this library. It is a very useful and playable library with a unique combination of pads and guitar. If that is not enough also the bonus library has a lot of gems to play with. My compliments, try and you will not be disappointed.

I’ve only been trying out this library for about 10 minutes. And I had to tear myself away to write this review. Mr. John Lehmkuhl and everyone who contributed to this library… YOU HAVE MADE MY DREAM COME TRUE… I have many good pads, BUT this kind of sound simply leaves me speechless. This richness and harmony of sounds. And the best part is, there will be MORE… THANK YOU @ALL… And this is already version 3, how could I have missed the other two… ;-)
