Unify v1.9.1 is now available with Native Apple Silicon Support and an incredible new MIDI Effect called CC Rider included!
Unify now includes 40 Patches including 38 NEW or Updated patches with this update!
Please scroll down the page to see the list of all the libraries available for Unify – NOTE: Unified libraries are FREE support libraries that consist of the Factory Patches from over 80 plug-ins. You HAVE to own the plug-in for these libraries to be useful. Install the VST2 version into Unify or the VST3 if a VST2 is not included.
We also offer a FREE DEMO VERSION of Unify so you can try before buying if you wish. Everything works (saving is disabled, it can’t load any of our libraries, just play select patches from our factory content and scan your plug-ins to confirm how cool it is to layer multiple plug-ins you own inside of Unify!) The demo version will quit after 15 min of use. You can restart it again if you wish.
Anybody can now get the Full Installer or Updater files to download from either logging into your PluInGuru.com account or from our Distributer partner Ilio’s download links: https://www.ilio.com/unify-updates
Listen to the audio demos, watch the patch and interface walk thru videos (as well as other support videos) and you will be inspired with what YOU can create after adding this amazing plug-in instrument to your toolkit!
Say hello to a NEW WAY of working with Plug-ins of all types! Unify can work with MIDI Effects, Instruments and Audio Effects in creative fun and inspiring ways. Unify includes plug-ins VST2, VST3 and Audio Units (Mac only) PLUS a Standalone application for PC and Mac. One of the cool things with Unify is that any format of plug-in can load other formats of plug-ins – meaning the Audio Unit version can easily load VST3 and VST plug-ins while you’re using it in Logic Pro X (which doesn’t know what to do with VST or VST3 plug-ins). We talked to a number of small (like us) developers who have made some rather amazing free plug-ins in the last 20 years and received their blessing to include their plug-ins and audio effects – along with our own Guru Sample Player and 14 Effects we built ourselves so that Unify ships with 625 ready-to-play patches when you install it.
That puts Unify in a totally different class than any other “Host” PlugIn: we include 6 Instrument and 40 effect plug-ins that John “Skippy” Lehmkuhl used to make the 625 patches that are included and play the second you install Unify. From simple basses and pads to complex 12 layers of plugins doing incredible rhythmic wavesequence types of sounds and everything in-between, it’s breathtaking what has been created here.
Plug-Ins Included with Unify (placed in their own Plug-In folder, away from your existing Plug-In folders):
MIDI Effect PlugIns:
MIDIBox (MIDI file Player that can play MIDI files polyphonically), BlueARP, RipChord Player, PolyBox, JitterBox, TriggerBox, MOrgan Perc, ComboBox, MIDI Monitor, MIDI Filter
GuruSampler / OBxD / Dexed / Digits / mda DX10 (FM) / mda JX10 (Subtractive Analog) / Unify / Morgan (B3) / Soundfont Player

Distortion: NoizBox / Swanky Amp / CHOWTapeModel / mda Band Distortion / mda Degrade / mda Overdrive

EQ: Restrictor / FilterMax / FlexEQ / mda Loudness / mda RezFilter
Modulation: Silky Chorus / PhaseMod / FlangeMod / MOrgan Cab / mda Detune / mda Image / mda Leslie / mda RingMod / mda RoundPan / mda Stereo / mda SubSynth / mda Transient / mda Tracker / mda Vocoder

Utility: ComboBox (Nest unlimited MIDI Effects, Instruments, Audio Effects in a single layer), MIDI Monitor
There are now over 20 libraries for Unify! Many are free – to see all of them, please visit our home page and hit the green “UNIFY” Box.
UNIFIED Libraries –
FEB 2023: I’ve just released OTT#13 (One Topic Tip video #13) on loading your own samples into Unify. I created a empty template library called “My Sample Vault” that you can download from HERE. If you would like the 30+ min step by step video on how to load your own gazillion samples into Unify, it’s available to watch HERE.
A Unified Library is where we save out each factory patch from a specific Plug-In in Unify format. YOU MUST OWN THE PLUG-IN the library of patches if from. The advantages are:
All the factory patches in our easy to view browser, organized by category.
In Unify Patch format, by simply changing the Patch Loading Mode to “Unify / Layer”, any new patch you select is added to your existing patch for immediate layers/building of sounds. This is impossible in every other plug-in out there and makes Unify truly unique.
In order to use these Unified Patches, you need to own the specific Plug-In, and have for the most part the VST2 version of this plug-in added to Unify’s “Known PlugIn” list.
If you get an ERROR MESSAGE (Plug-In MISSING) when trying to load a Patch, Watch This.

Since I purchased this, I spend all my time inside it. Wonderful fun!
I have tried to make these kind of connections with a other brand of vst and that did not work as good as unify does.
Fore sure one of the main plugins to start your new projects with.
Brings all the libraries into one interface that blazes with speed and ease. Instruments and effects working together in stackable layers, quick control parameters, and loads of usable samples and examples plus video tutorials to get you started. Sound-Sculpting Power Tool at your fingertips. Worth the wait, it’s finally here with an update just before Valentine’s 2020. Worth every penny.
Despite my confidence in John’s (and team) products, I was quite skeptical and did not know what to expect. The “Wow” effect is there and the ability to easily combine multiple plugins into one single tool clearly expand my creativity. Impressive job John, you make us all entering a new sound era. Cheers from France
I really love this one, it’s a serious surrogate for the old but deeply missed KORE from NI.
The only two things I’d like to be improved/implemented in future versions are:
_Some index from 0-127 beside/below the curves while programming the macros, so a user could do velocity/parameter transitions much faster, simply because you can adjust them via values (not only the graphs) – maybe even with a grid snap (and/or a function for auto-assignment) for a faster building of key zones etc.
_8 morphing pads (which were killer in KORE but also in synths like Alchemy) for storing different states of knob settings so you can perform smooth changes via x/y pad between the pads (and therefore the settings of each macro) – or hard ones by just clicking on a pad. Especially for live sets this is a powerful possibility to return to different parts within your performance.
But I really have to say that Unify’s workflow and fast GUI is a boon for sound designers and it works absolutely stable so far!
Installed on Mac OS 10.12.6 – 2.8Ghz Intel core i7 16 GB Ram without a glitch.
Logic X 10.4.4 runs fine, Reason 10 and 11 Intro also.
After a VST scan no midi FX show, only built in, why is Ripchord in there ? you have to leave Guruland to register.
no BlueARP in midi only instrument layer, the fix is by dragging the AU MFX components into the plugin folder, Cthulhu etc. etc, after which they are all there just like in the Skippy live videos.
Thanks to John & Laurent for the sounds and a bigger THX to Shane for putting it together
This instrument is amazing, an hour ago I bought UNIFY, I downloaded the library, I installed it following the instructions of the Manual, I saved the file with the 2.5GB of the library on my external disk, then I opened UNIFY and with the option 'online' I pasted my Key and in seconds I registered it, then I moved Drag-n-Drop towards the interface the library file, started loading and in a few minutes created the presets. Then I selected the ASIO Audio Driver, turned on my MIDI controller, immediately detected it and assigned it, and began to delight in the created sounds. They are of an incredible professional quality, with warmth and perfect weight. I didn't think it would work as light on my Windows 7, I don't have the 10 installed but with my 16GB of RAM this thing flies. It shows here that they have put, dedication, excellent programming and much love to develop this fantastic tool for the creation of electronic music. The sky is the limit! I have to go to dinner and sleep because tomorrow I work, but maybe I take Tuesday off …
PS: I hope they can implement in future updates that you can select and copy layers from other presets without abandoning the one I'm working on, I currently couldn't do it … thanks PlugInGURU! ☺
NOTE from SKIPPY: Copy/Paste of Layers exists and works great already (Click circle at the Right of any Layer to see the "COPY LAYER" option).
Amazing tool at an unbeatable price – inspiring sounds – innovative concept – user friendly – supports the workflow – Congratulations from BACK TO EARTH to the TWO MASTERS John and Shane…
This plugin fills a gap in my workflow like none other. The power of the product is only limited by one’s imagination. My hat goes off to John and Shane for the innovative concept, the software development execution, and customer focused support that makes this plugin so valuable to me. And if that wasn’t enough, we get awesome basses, bells, pads, acoustic guitars, and more. Thank you!
This Unify is very promising
Patches and Plugin enclosed are allready awesome .
But also all my own plugin are working inside very well ! Omnisphère Keyscape Pianoteq N.I and including UVI/RAVENSCROFT and all the WAVE Plugin contrary to what is stated in the manual.
it’s a super MEGA MULTI plugin combination .
Thank you so much John and Shane
everything that was said here about unify by new users are well said ,its very impressive plugin for sure ,it remind me of that little girl from movie species lol ,this plugin grows superfast once you add other plugins to it
(i do have over 1500 plugins so i waited patiently to add everything to unify and boy when i combined few layers it gave me beautiful astonishing pads and atmospheric sounds i never heard before ,BIG choirs from nexus omnisphere serum and jupiter8 in to one SINGLE SOUND which makes work flow even easier to find your taste of choirs and pads
and those curved buttons does makes unify get THAT sound for you in few mins,i just hope unify can make /bring more 3rd party built in plugins to join unify in future
..maybe more unify skins ? (colors can get boring with time lol)
I absolutely Love Unify and I will be using it a lot, now I have to find out how to get the updates and I’ll be good .
Unify is a total game changer when it comes to creating unique and esoteric blends of sonic goodness in a way hitherto before only available by complex manipulation of you DAW tracks. Well done John and Shane!
Sample Library Review
There’s been a lot of hype about Unify and it’s all true!
I’ve been really impressed with Skippy’s video tutorials and Shaun’s interaction on many forums, I couldn’t wait any longer to dive into this software; and it was worth the wait.
After activating Unify I spent 2 hours playing with it and the possibilities are blowing my mind.
I can see this being a really big deal, don’t hesitate – buy it!
Unify is a smart choice with a smart workflow
When you start with a DAW it’s sometimes intimidating and a lot of searching to how exactly tweak things
Unify in it’s first version has already enough functionality to use it right away as an instrument on it’s own
With the already provided rich content / synths
At the same time you can go very deep already and combine to produce a new sound
This is for some functionality also in todays DAW’s possible, but not for starters with a DAW,
Beginners with a DAW have a higher learning curve then compared with starting with Unify
Unify has no steep learning curve like the major DAW’s, when you want to go a little further I mean
Look at some YouTube video’s from our PluginGuru himself, then you get the basics already
See his Youtube Unify playlist
And follow the Pluginguru almost weekly livestreams with nice tips
