BLACK FRIDAY – $59 for Unify until Monday Night! Back to the introductory price from 2020 for one of the most powerful and inspiring Plug-Ins available!!
Unify v1.9.1 is now available with Native Apple Silicon Support and an incredible new MIDI Effect called CC Rider included!
Now with 640 Patches including 38 NEW or Updated patches!
Please scroll down the page to see the list of all the libraries available for Unify – NOTE: Unified libraries are FREE support libraries that consist of the Factory Patches from over 80 plug-ins. You HAVE to own the plug-in for these libraries to be useful. Install the VST2 version into Unify or the VST3 if a VST2 is not included.
We also offer a FREE DEMO VERSION of Unify so you can try before buying if you wish. Everything works (saving is disabled, it can’t load any of our libraries, just play select patches from our factory content and scan your plug-ins to confirm how cool it is to layer multiple plug-ins you own inside of Unify!) The demo version will quit after 15 min of use. You can restart it again if you wish.
Anybody can now get the Full Installer or Updater files to download from either logging into your PluInGuru.com account or from our Distributer partner Ilio’s download links: https://www.ilio.com/unify-updates
Listen to the audio demos, watch the patch and interface walk thru videos (as well as other support videos) and you will be inspired with what YOU can create after adding this amazing plug-in instrument to your toolkit!
Say hello to a NEW WAY of working with Plug-ins of all types! Unify can work with MIDI Effects, Instruments and Audio Effects in creative fun and inspiring ways. Unify includes plug-ins VST2, VST3 and Audio Units (Mac only) PLUS a Standalone application for PC and Mac. One of the cool things with Unify is that any format of plug-in can load other formats of plug-ins – meaning the Audio Unit version can easily load VST3 and VST plug-ins while you’re using it in Logic Pro X (which doesn’t know what to do with VST or VST3 plug-ins). We talked to a number of small (like us) developers who have made some rather amazing free plug-ins in the last 20 years and received their blessing to include their plug-ins and audio effects – along with our own Guru Sample Player and 14 Effects we built ourselves so that Unify ships with 625 ready-to-play patches when you install it.
That puts Unify in a totally different class than any other “Host” PlugIn: we include 6 Instrument and 40 effect plug-ins that John “Skippy” Lehmkuhl used to make the 625 patches that are included and play the second you install Unify. From simple basses and pads to complex 12 layers of plugins doing incredible rhythmic wavesequence types of sounds and everything in-between, it’s breathtaking what has been created here.
Plug-Ins Included with Unify (placed in their own Plug-In folder, away from your existing Plug-In folders):

MIDIBox (MIDI file Player that can play MIDI files polyphonically), BlueARP, RipChord Player, PolyBox, JitterBox, TriggerBox, MOrgan Perc, ComboBox, MIDI Monitor, MIDI Filter

There are now over 20 libraries for Unify! Many are free – to see all of them, please visit our home page and hit the green “UNIFY” Box.
UNIFIED Libraries –
A Unified Library is where we save out each factory patch from a specific Plug-In in Unify format. YOU MUST OWN THE PLUG-IN the library of patches if from. The advantages are:
All the factory patches in our easy to view browser, organized by category.
In Unify Patch format, by simply changing the Patch Loading Mode to “Unify / Layer”, any new patch you select is added to your existing patch for immediate layers/building of sounds. This is impossible in every other plug-in out there and makes Unify truly unique.
In order to use these Unified Patches, you need to own the specific Plug-In, and have for the most part the VST2 version of this plug-in added to Unify’s “Known PlugIn” list.
If you get an ERROR MESSAGE (Plug-In MISSING) when trying to load a Patch, Watch This.

I’ve had Unify now for a while (since the release) and thought it would be a good time to give my two cents on it now that I’ve used it for a while. I absolutely love it! John and Shane did not disappoint!
Yes it may have a bug or two…but it’s evolving and just keeps getting better. I’ve been a long time user of Cantabile for live gigs and this will eventually be integrated into my live rig. For now I use it in Cubase 10.5 and it works as well as it does in standalone mode. I’m still experimenting with it in Maschine 2.
The videos created by John/Plugin Guru are great and I can’t wait to see how Unify will evolve in the future…seems like every week there is something new!
I am more of a preset person (a bit lazy and bad eyesight ). But I am having fun mixing all my plugin, layer, split ……you name it. Thank you it’s great.
Nothing is perfect, and I imagine you want to know about the ”irritants” .
For a start the first library out would cost me +/- 300$ CAD Serum + library…… a bit to much for me.
But I suppose there will be library using plugin I already have…..
The second thing is more general, since Unify, plugin guru is really becoming a trans,dance…….. thing with Airwave taking much space. I am not a techno guy so the omnipresent kick drum ……. not for me. So I hope there will be other style of music with variations in drumbeats……. and a melody once in a while.
I’ve been a follower since the beginning of plugin guru, love what you did for omnisphere and keyscape. Just hope there is still some of that in you.
p.s. sorry for the weird English, I am french…….
I’m normally a preset only guy. I haven’t had time to jump into sound design, although I’d love to. Unify is the first product where I spend equal time crafting new patches and writing with them (and vice-versa). It is constantly being updated with MAJOR updates that would normally cost a considerable amount. John’s videos are compelling and the community surrounding this product is incredibly supportive. This is how things should be done.
Thank you John and Shane,
I am so grateful for your work. Not only did you deliver this mindblowing plugin called Unify, which in itself is a masterpiece allowing completely new ways in experiencing your other plugins, but you a continuing to expand it in ways that are just insane. Best example is this PolyBox MIDI effect. Just load the patch “SYNTH – PolyBox 8x Baby´s Dancing” and get lost in a total new way of sound. Increadible.
Greetings from Germany
Title says it all. While some may say I can just use multiple tracks in my DAW, there is no way to create the sounds you can get from Unify. We need a lighter skin for us old guys. We are lucky to be at the beginning of a fantastic sonic journey. Strap in.
John and Shane – you guys knocked this one out of the park. Thanks so much for this wonderfully creative and inspiring piece of software. I still have so much to learn about Unify but the videos and livestreams John has produced really help demonstrate the potential of this instrument. I’m using it all the time and starting to create my own patches which is great fun.
Bought this on day of release and can highly recommend to anyone considering a purchase. Can’t wait to see what the future holds and where Unify goes from here.
I am new to music/sound production and played around (rather frustratingly) with VST instruments and effects in Cakewalk by Bandlab before discovering this gem of a product. Very user-friendly interface and the YouTube videos from John cover all the bases of how to use it to its fullest potential. Great work on Unify, John and Shane. It is worth every penny. Looking very forward to the updates.
UNIFY is a gamechanger because
1. it’s ultra-deep flexibility.
2. it’s lightning fast
Because of UNIFY
a. All your vst’s, effects and sidechaining midi-modifers (arpeggiator, phrasegenerator, … ) work superfast together without noticeable lag. On my outdated pc I can now sidechain PhraseBox (Venomode) without lag/ delay driving multiple patches and effects. It has now become so easy to design you sounds on each and every level (midi, sample, effects)
b. a fun and inspiring workflow that evolves like ever-growing multi-dimensional universes and later omniverses (= multiple universes) instead of the usual boring, inspirational-killing linear approaches is now possible in UNIFY because of it’s superior organisational abilities that allows you to save, rename, group and regroup everything you do. When you start a new project you have at your disposal these fresh (sub) categories that you designed yourself and work for you. With each project you can expand it as you go along. The more you used the more it will be fine tuned to your needs, and it is so inspiring.
I was so happy that PluginGuru personally helped me(during the weekend!), when I made a user-error: he actually reads the technical support and will mention solutions on his YouTube blog! This company supports it’s customers?
p.s. I LOVE the GUI. But I use a 40inch 4k screen right in front of my keyboard tilted at an angle of about 75 degrees (I am not reminded of my desk job with a pcscreen that is not tilted at all). The GUI is very readable and calm (non-distracting) to the eyes, showing all the parameters you need to see.
THANK YOU PluginGuru!
even though the GUI looks terrible, but i can guarantee .. don’t judge by its cover .. taste it your own, you won’t be regret ! amazing instrument ..
You guys are fucking genius !!
Just purchased it
Great fun and creativity
Keep on developing this plugin, its just woow!!
A Game changer it is in deed
I often watch youtube for new music and tutorials. So there are often new videos for Unify, new sounds, programming…..Very cool. I am glad to get new sounds, because i am only a user, not a sound programmer. Hope to get lots of good sounds. Thank you very much, Mr. Lehmkuhl
I purchased Unify 3 weeks ago. It does all the same things the old Kore 2 (NI) plugin did except way better and newer. I have made lots of different synth performances, guitar performances (Musiclab plugins work great in this plugin) and drumsets using Unify. It is an ultimate creation tool within your DAW. Youtube videos are great instructionals too.
Only used Unify in one project so far. Adding substance to the mix and preset sound are really great for this. 🙂 Got a much fuller keys sound in combination with the organ I used previously. And a bell sound that works wonders together a Marimba & Xylophone. My “Zappa” project with 20 tracks love this plugin & me to. Unify is very mild on CPU on my old 8 core Mac Pro, even using some of the more heavy presets my many layers. Looking forward to the continuation of this plugin. 🙂
Since I purchased this, I spend all my time inside it. Wonderful fun!
