This is our first library release for an incredible sound designer in our industry, Saif Sameer. I’ve been friends with Saif for many years and have always admired his work. He specializes in those incredible IN-YOUR-FACE sounds that can really define a track – some would think some of them are boring because they don’t do backflips, but to make really solid patches that can work for a ton of different productions in a bunch of different genres is actually a very difficult skill to pull off.
TAL’s incredible U-No-LX is an excellent plug-in emulating the famous Roland Juno 60 (U-No = Juno and LX = Green numbers for 60 – get it?) – These patches are perfect for any genre that needs bigger than life analog dance oriented patches from Synthewave to Retrowave to Pop and EDM and everything in between!

A Treasure
This is by far the best library I’ve ever purchased for U-No-LX. While I own several libraries from other artists known for their 80s-style music, such as Michael Oakley, Saif’s patches take things to a whole new level. The real magic happens when you start layering them—whether it’s within the library itself or combined with other synth libraries. I hope this isn’t the last unified library we see from him.
Versatile and high quality
This is another great library. The TAL synth is a marvellous beast, and this pack takes it to a whole range of new ground. A wide variety of timbres, all smartly programmed by Saif. Well worth the money.
Great library for scoring film
The new library for the TAL-U-NO-LX by Saif Sameer has quickly become a favorite. The sounds are crystal clear and inspiring, making it easy to create beautiful soundscapes.
We rarely purchase VSTs unless they are Unified as we appreciate the curation and quality control by John and team. It also fits well in our workflow for our user case: scoring documentary films. We need to be able to layer sounds for relatively short segments (20 – 30 seconds, often 80+ sounds in an hour of film). This and other PluginGuru libraries make this economically viable.
When we layer the patches of U-No-LX Opulenta Plus in Unify, they blend perfectly, resulting in lush, expansive textures. Each patch is well-crafted.
