This is a really wonderful 158 Patch library with over 5GB of new samples of Acoustic 12-String (Finger and Picked style), Electric 12-String ( 5 TOTALLY different Guitar AMP designs), Mandolin (Finger and Picked style) AND. Bonus Thunderbird Electric Bass all in one library! This library was designed and is only available for Unify.
Now, I admit it. Freely, I confess I am a frustrated guitar players. In making these libraries, I now own 8 guitars and I can’t play anything but entry level power chords on any of them! But thankfully, thru careful sampling and endless hours spent crafting the 158 presets in this library (and the other 3 libraries of guitars I’ve released), I can play all of these incredible instruments on a keyboard. And, having done this process often enough I’m getting even closer to the closed eyes test where they sound like they COULD be real guitars when I listen back to recordings I’ve done with them. Of course it’s not the same as the real thing, but I am getting closer! Will I ever get there, doubtful. All acoustic instruments make entirely different tones with every note you strike on them and even by each person that plays them. Nobody sounds the same. But it’s a dream come true to play and sound close enough to even fool some of my guitar playing friends when they hear back this library. So I’m very happy about that and super happy with how wonderful this library turned out.

The missing link of your DAW
I’ve been a über fan of Skippy’ stuff, since the days that predates DAWS… Ya, I’m old, 55 1/2 lol… I’ve always loved the sound of a 12 string guitar, to the point that I reached out to my old Luither, Warmoth Guitars, and had them back in Y2K craft me a lifetime heirloom 12 string… The instrument is a true ONE-OF-A-KIND… But, there’s times, when you can’t break it out and use it… So what do? The Double Trouble to the rescue!
Why listen to my opinionated opinion? Well, I’m a musician and composer with over 45 years under my belt. I have Synesthesia, so I hear colors, pickup rhythm from textures, etc. I process the audio spectrum differently than most.
So what makes this sample library the missing link to your DAW?
When you need that delicious doubled sonic wall of sound, that a 12 string guitar, or an 8 string bass (yes, have a Warmoth custom of that too) or even a mandolin (nope don’t physically own one, fingers are too dam big LOL) I’ve tried what is out there.. and lets just say I’ve thrown more money away at the wrong thing, then the right… so when I say, SKIPPY is a genius, know he’s gotten it DARN-TOOTING Right.
Now, imagine running his stuff through your favorite FX patches, from whatever platform you choose to use… You just literally saved your tracks… Since the fall is here, Folk music seems to be in demand more… and what’s at the core of most folk music? A 12 string guitar…

Amazing
Ok, I have most guitar libraries and vsts. But Unify patches are so ready and easy to play. Hands down my go to guitar always patches. So Saturday night I’m playing keys with a combo and someone said, when did we get another guitar player…. I said no, that was Unify patch….. Same was said the next day at church…. Who was playing that second guitar patch…. was it taped/looped……. I said no, that was me on the Unify patch…. Amazing…
