Expressions comes with 222 Patches featuring 68 new samples from Tim Dale. There is a BONUS Library for Unify that has all 222 Patches for easy layering as well as 28 additional BONUS Patches (250 Total in the Unify version). Tim created by going Layer Crazy and creating some really brilliant Patches tying Unify”s strengths and this libraries strengths together.
Expressions is a library designed where the majority of the patches have had a great amount of attention paid to getting unique sonic changes from both the Modulation Wheel and from Aftertouch so the sound you start out with isn’t necessarily the sound you end up with and the results are exciting and add additional depth to this tour de force of a library.
This is library #11 by Sir Tim Dale and is a wonderful, creative and especially EXPRESSIVE library for Omnisphere 2.

Presenting “Expressions”, my latest library for Omnisphere 2, and I’m not sure there’s much else quite like this. This library is all about expressive playability, and about sounds that you can just get lost in while playing. It has been inspired by the sound of modern synthesizers like the Expressive-E Osmose, the Roli synth engines, the Arturia Polybrute 12, the UDO Super 8, and the Non-linear Labs C-15, but this library is about making those sort of sounds available to those who don’t own MPE controllers or Poly Aftertouch keyboards – all that is needed is velocity, mod-wheel and (optionally) channel aftertouch to shape the sounds. It’s probably my most “beautiful” library, with fewer BPM patches than anything else I’ve done. The library contains 222 Omnisphere patches that have taken 2 years to craft. In addition to creative use of the standard Omnisphere samples, this library also contains samples from the Ayodo Anyma Phi and Yamaha VL70m physical modeling synths. If you also own Unify, all of the patches are available in Unify format (Omnisphere still required) and there are also 28 bonus Unify multis, combining the sounds in splits and layers.
Check out the demo tracks to get an idea of the scope of the library. Apart from some additional percussion from Unify, everything else you hear is from Expressions.

I can’t overstate how impressed I am with Sabresound Expressions, Tim has done it again. From the very first patch, it’s clear these sounds were crafted with both passion and precision. There are lush pads that evolve over time, intricate arpeggios that breathe rhythm into your compositions, soaring leads, gritty basses, and delicate plucks—each one thoughtfully designed and immediately playable. You don’t have to fight with these sounds; they invite creativity and effortlessly fit into a mix. Well done, Tim, highly recommended.
